By accessing or using EscrowPilot.ai ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. These terms apply to all users, including escrow officers, administrators, and transaction parties accessing the client portal.
EscrowPilot provides an AI-powered escrow workflow platform including: - AI document classification and renaming - Document storage integration (GreenFolders, SharePoint, Dropbox) - SMS and email notifications to transaction parties - Transaction management dashboard - Automated workflow rules engine - Client portal for buyer/seller visibility - eSign integration (DocuSign, VentureSign) - Intake connectors for document automation
You must provide accurate, complete information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access.
You agree not to: - Use the Service for any illegal purpose - Upload malicious files or content - Attempt to access other users' data - Reverse engineer or copy the Service - Send unsolicited messages (spam) through our SMS feature - Exceed reasonable usage limits - Share your API keys or account credentials
By using our SMS feature, you agree to: - Only send messages to parties with a legitimate business relationship - Comply with TCPA, CTIA, and all applicable messaging regulations - Honor opt-out requests (STOP messages) promptly - Not send marketing or promotional messages without consent - Use messaging for transactional escrow communications only Standard message and data rates may apply to recipients. We are not responsible for carrier charges.
You retain full ownership of all documents uploaded to EscrowPilot. By uploading documents, you grant us a limited license to: - Process documents through AI for classification - Store documents in your account - Sync documents to your connected storage systems - Display document metadata in your dashboard We do not use your documents to train AI models. AI classification is performed using third-party models (Anthropic Claude) under their data processing terms.
Paid plans are billed monthly via Stripe. By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis. You may cancel at any time — cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Free trial period: 3 days. No charge during the trial. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, your subscription will begin automatically.
We strive to maintain 99.9% uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We are not liable for downtime due to: - Planned maintenance (with advance notice) - Third-party service outages (Firebase, Twilio, Stripe, etc.) - Force majeure events - Your internet connection or equipment
EscrowPilot is a workflow automation tool. We are NOT a licensed escrow company, title company, or financial institution. We do not: - Provide legal, financial, or real estate advice - Guarantee the accuracy of AI classifications - Handle escrow funds or wire transfers - Provide title insurance or guarantees To the maximum extent permitted by law, EscrowPilot's liability is limited to the amount you paid for the Service in the 12 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
You agree to indemnify and hold EscrowPilot harmless from claims arising from your use of the Service, your violation of these terms, or your violation of any third-party rights.
We may terminate or suspend your account if you violate these terms. You may terminate your account at any time by contacting support. Upon termination, your data will be deleted per our Privacy Policy.
We may modify these terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email or in-app notification. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of San Diego County, California.
